Punjab Higher Education Commission Invites Applications For International Research Support Fellowship

Punjab higher education commission has invited applications for the international research support fellowship. The eligible male and female candidates are encouraged to apply to this offered research program. Ph.D. scholars enrolled in the any university of Punjab are eligible to be selected to do the research in QS top ranking 200 universities of 2021. The fellowship is offered in the various subjects that include science and technology, social sciences, arts, humanities, and management sciences. The duration of the international research support fellowship is six months. PHEC will provide the various expenses to the students that include bench fee, living allowance/ stipend as prescribed, and air tickets. 

Eligibility Criteria 

Following is eligibility criteria mentioned by the commission and it is mandatory for the candidates to fall into the criteria in order to get selected for the fellowship. 

• The candidates having the domicile of any district of Punjab can apply. 
• The age limit for this international research support fellowship is 45 years. 
• The candidates must be enrolled in a Ph.D. degree program in the any public/private sector university of Punjab.
• The candidates can apply minimum after 1.5 years of enrollment and maximum after 4.5 years of enrollment. 
• The research paper of the candidate must be approved by the board of advanced studies and research or the equivalent body of the university.
• The candidates have to submit a valid acceptance letter issued by a foreign university.  

Application Submission

The candidates have to fill the application form and submit it to the Punjab higher education commission before 30th April 2021. Along with the application form the candidates have to submit the CNIC, academic certificates, and other documents required by the commission. The application forms submitted by hand will not be entertained by the concerned authorities. The candidates are required to submit the application form and fulfill the requirements before the last date to avoid any inconvenience.
