The Punjab government has announced to grant scholarship of 3 billion and 95 crore to the students. The talented students will be provided with the 13 billion and 85 crore from the new fiscal year. The scholarships will be also given to the children of the government servants.
The Decision of Punjab Government
According to the sources, the Punjab government has taken this decision to facilitate the students by providing the financial aid to the model students. The scholarship has been specified for the children of the servants/officers of various government departments. In government schools, the Scholarship will be granted to the students of the 6th to 10th class.
10th Class Paper Checking
On the other hand, the process of the 10th class paper checking has been started. For the marking purpose, 161 centers in Punjab and 27 centers in Lahore have been specified and all the staff needs to follow the standard operating procedure. As per instructions, around 10 lac papers in Punjab will be checked by the exam checkers. Furthermore, it is also informed to the checkers to wear gloves and masks and maintain the social distance while checking the papers. The staff members will not be allowed to carry their phones in the centers. The Result of the 10th Class will be announced after 15th September.
