Punjab Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) has announced the Ph.D. scholarships for the students. The Punjab government has made this decision to provide opportunities to the eligible students so that they can take the doctorate degree from world-renowned universities. It is informed to the candidates that on taking the admission in the top 50 universities of the world, as per the ranking the government will pay all the expenses until the completion of the degree. According to the foreign Ph.D. scholarship program, the Ph.D. scholarships will be granted to the students. Moreover, the students that will apply in the domain of the life sciences will be preferred over the other applicants. The numbers of scholarships allocated for the science field are comparatively more as compared to the other study areas. The candidates belonging to all the provinces of Pakistan having at least 60% marks in academics are eligible to apply for the Ph.D. scholarships announced by the government.
Ph.D. Scholarship Program
For the Ph.D. scholarship program, 80% of scholarships have been allocated for the field of Science and 20% for Social Sciences. The Punjab government will grant 90% scholarships to provincial students and 10% to students of the other provinces. Ph.D. scholarships will be offered to the students in 25 disciplines from world-renowned universities. The details of the scholarships for the next academic year will be provided by the Punjab Education Endowment Fund
Scholarships For Bachelors and Masters
Higher Education Commission has announced the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme 2021 for the students of bachelors, masters, M.Phil, and Ph.D. The last date to apply for this scholarship program is 15th January 2021. The candidates have to fill and submit the online application scholarship forms provided by the Tempus Public Foundation Hungary and HEC. It is mandatory for the candidates to meet the eligibility criteria mentioned by the authorities in order to secure the scholarship.
