The Provincial Education Minister Dr Murad Raas on Sunday in a tweet stated that 20% discount on the private school fees will remain in place as long as the educational institute’s schools are closed due to Corona virus pandemic. As per the details, after the announcement of increase in school vacations, Murad Raas mentioned in his twitter account about the reduction in fees as long as schools are closed due to pandemic.
 
 

 

All Private Schools Restricted To Give 20% Concession In Fees

All the private sector schools will retain 20% fee concessions. The Education Minister further added that parents can contact the CEO education of concerned district if the schools are nor offering the concession in monthly fee.
 

Education Minister Reaction Over Parents Complains

In his tweet, he further said that 95 percent of the complaints received have been resolved so far. It is also important to mention here that in the last few days, it was revealed that a school in Lahore had been charging the full fee. The parents showed the concern over 3 months fee collection at St. Peter's School Waris Road without 20% discount. The angry parents said that 3 month lump sum fee is being collected without discount of 20%.
 
He claimed that the school management was threatening to remove the names of the students who did not submit the 3 months lump sum fee. On the other hand, the teachers said that the school management had also ordered the teachers to ensure the attendance in the school.
