Private School Association Accepts Governments Order To Offer 20% Concession In Tuition Fee

On Wednesday, Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) has decided and addressed to private schools to offer a 20% concession in tuition fees to all the students due to the Covid-19 alarming situation. As we know that the whole of the country is going through lockdown because of the spread of the Coronavirus across the country. Under this situation, the jobs and businesses all are restricted. So, to facilitate the parents, the government or Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) has taken this decision. During this meeting, it has decided that almost all the private schools will offer a 20% discount or concession until the lockdown.

The Reply Of Private Schools Association

In reply to the decision taken by the Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) or government, the private school association has accepted the governments’ order and decided to offer a 20% concession to all the students. While speaking to media Malik Ibrar, Central President of the Association has declared that the province should also certify the implementation of this kind of decision. He further said that besides the parents the small level private schools would also be facilitated under this decision. The phenomenon of collecting monthly fees will help the schools to pay the salaries to the staff. He further said that in this alarming situation of Covid-19 the private schools are ready to cooperate with government

Other Remarks By Private School Association 

While speaking to media person, Malik Ibrar also addressed the government that most of the private schools are situated in the buildings on rent. However, many other expenditures come to run private schools. So, by keeping in view the current situations, he requested to government to offer financial aid to the private sector schools.

Note: It has decided that the change in the fee schedule will be followed until the lockdown. However, after clearing the situation, the normal feel schedule will be followed by the private sector schools.
