It was said that private schools were involved in promotion of drugs as well as vulgarity.

On the other hand, Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) said that exterminating drug abuse in schools was not in their control.

The authority administrators said that action will be taken against the schools if there is evidence about use of drugs.

Senator Talha Mehmood suggested that the running tests of school kids will surely yield evidence. PEIRA replied that private schools will not permit drug test when they had not even permitted polio vaccines for children in past.
