Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has announced the Prime Minister Youth Training Scheme 2016 for the unemployed graduates of Pakistan. This newly introduced training scheme by the Prime Minister is for the youngsters who belong to the provinces of Pakistan including Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA and Gilgit Baltistan.
Through this internship scheme, the government of Pakistan is providing the opportunity of internship to the unemployed educated youth of all the provinces of Pakistan in the Government, Semi-Government as well as in the private companies to improve their abilities as well as their employability.
Though, the selected interns will be given place in Federal Ministries or Division, Provincial departments, industries, banks, and businesses as well as different government and private institutes having the learning environment for the internship. The candidates of this internship program will be granted along with 12,000 per month stipend.
Eligibility for the internship programme:
o The candidates will be selects on basis on 16 years education degree from any HEC recognized institute or equivalent / the diploma of 3 years after matriculation / FSC with 50 percent marks or 2.5 CGPA in the final degree or diploma will be minimum threshold for the selection of candidates.
o The age limit is up to 25 years on 31st December 2015.
o The candidates must be a resident of Pakistan.
o There will be no gender discrimination. Female applicants are encouraged to apply for the internship programme.
o Madrassah graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Ineligibility for the internship programme:
o The candidates who have availed I training or internship program under any government youth training scheme are not eligible to apply.
o The candidates employed in any private or government company.
o A full-time aspirant of any government or private sector institute
Terms and Condition of internship program:
o The youth internship program by PM is in no way an opportunity of a job. It is an appointment which would automatically terminate after one year as well as, must not be constructed as awarding any right of absorption or job along with the concerned firm.
o All the interns successfully completing the internship would be granted internship completion certificate by the Host Company and M/o IPC.
o During applying for this internship programme, in any candidate provide wrong information it would disqualify him / her for the subject scheme.
