Prime Minister Imran Khan Commenced ‘Hunarmand Pakistan Program’ Through National Vocational & Technical Training Commission

The national vocational and technical training commission has initiated a new   program that aims to empower the youth of Pakistan. Prime minster Imran Khan has given the young generation of Pakistan a golden chance by providing them with high tech professional skills through training. The Hunarmand Jawan Program will offer professional skill-based training to 170,000 young individuals in the primary phase will be. However in the advance areas of Technology such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and cloud computing approximately 50,000 students will be trained.

Technical Education & Vocational Training Admission

In Technical education and Vocational Training in conventional areas, more than 50,000 young individuals will be trained. Moreover, the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission have announced admission under the PM Hunarmand Pakistan Program. Under this program, more than 500 institutes (Universities, technical institutes, and industrial units) will offer more than 200 courses.

High Tech Courses & Training

In the category of high tech courses, the youth will be trained in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, cloud computing, Mechatronics, etc. Whereas not-teach skill development courses will include plumbing, welding, etc.

Duration of Courses & Cost

The duration of these courses will be from 3 months to 6 months. Moreover, the candidates will not be required to submit any sort of dues as Prime Minister Imran Khan has initiated free of the cost training program of the youth.

Hunarmand Pakistan Program Details

1. The Hunarmand Pakistan Program focuses on the development and adjustment of 200 Technical & Vocational Education & Training (TVET) certificates by getting international authorization for 50 Pakistani TVET institutes
2. For distant learning programs in the TVET sector, the focus will be on establishing 100 Smart Tech labs across Pakistan including the introduction of soft skills, Business & IT and virtual skill development
3. Establishing 10 countries of destination-specific facilitation Centers in 10 cities across Pakistan with high outflux of Pakistanis in the international market workers abroad
4. In collaboration with provincial TEVTAs, the internship training of 25,000 youth in the industry will be given

Skills Development Program

In the skill development program, the youth that belongs to less developed areas of Pakistan belonging to less developed areas of the country especially Balochistan, GB, AJK and newly added districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Ex-FATA), Southern Punjab & Rural Sindh will be offered with skill development training of 50,000 Youth in High-End / High-Tech. technologies in reputed Universities & state of the Art TVET Institutes of Pakistan

Application Procedure & Deadline

All applicants are informed to submit a completely filled form along with two passport size photographs, CNIC copy, and copies of all educational documents before the due date which will be Friday 24^th January 2020.
