PM’s laptop scheme: More than 15 colleges get laptops

Islamabad: Keeping in line along with the commands of Prime minister, the aspirants at 17 colleges of Islamabad have received almost 4,545 laptops and tablets.

The aspirants of ICT colleges, who had applied for the gadgets in phase-II and phase-III of the PM’s Laptop Scheme, are awarded laptops in a ceremony on Wednesday.

Islamabad Model Postgraduate College for Girls F-7/2 received the most devices with 849 laptops and tablets for its registered students.

Islamabad Model Postgraduate College for Girls (Margalla) in Sector F-7/4 got 401 laptops, Islamabad College for Girls F-6/2 got  693 laptops and tablets, Islamabad Model College For Girls F-6/2 got 201 laptops and tablets, Government Polytechnic Institute for Women H-8/1 got 26 laptops and tablets, Islamabad Model College for Girls  F-10/2 got 400 laptops and tablets, Islamabad Model College of Commerce for girls F-10/3 got 104 laptops and tablets, Islamabad Model College for Boys F-10/4 got 77 devices were among those who received laptops.
