The police of Malaysia have detained over 400 people, including a Pakistani of 32 years old, along with the alleged terrorist contacts during a crackdown on foreigners in the run-up to the Southeast Asian Games, which will begin next week.

On Tuesday BBC reported that:

Those detained in a series of raids in the capital Kuala Lumpur were mainly from India, Bangladesh as well as Pakistan.

The local reports recommend that during the raid fake passport making machines as well as the other documents were also detained.

 “We will identify and we will also take a strict action against foreigners suspected of having relations along with the organization, particularly those involved in activities in Syria,” a police man told Free Malaysia.

According to the Singapore-based Straits Times, the huge operation included “the use of radiation detection devices, which were taken on loan from the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency specifically for the SEA Games”.

Straits Times also claims that a 32-year-old Pakistani man was arrested along with the 62 fake passports of different states and a machine utilized to forge the Immigration department stickers.
