The Formula Student UK Virtual 2020, a Europe’s most reputable competition is held recently in which a Formula Student Team from the National University Of Science and Technology, NUST has won another award at the international level after securing 7th position. The competition is organized by the Institute of Mechanical Engineering on a yearly basis. The Institute of Mechanical Engineering has been developing future engineering talent since 1847 and is currently stands with a global community of over 120,000 mechanical engineers.
Achievements Of NUST In The Formula Student UK Virtual 2020
In the competition, the formula student team by NUST has secured 3rd position in both the Acceleration and the design events. However, in the competition of Skidpad the team secures 9th position, and in the Cost event in the Formula Student UK Virtual 2020 the team NUST has won 10th position. The student formula team is working to change the perception of Pakistani youngsters through its innovation at a global level, declared by a member of the student formula team by NUST.
Aims Of NUST Formula Student Team
NUST’s team of formula student is working in conceiving, designing, and assembling the formula-style race car. With the aim to establish the optimum human resources the team is working to foster a culture of formula students throughout the country. This will introduce Pakistan as the forefront of technology at the global level. NUST formula student team is the only team of Pakistan that has been participated 7 times in Formula Student Competitions including Formula Student Germany and Formula Student UK.
Besides these international competitions, the team has also participated in innovative design in Pakistan Auto Show 2018 and secured 2nd position. The Communication Strategy award in Silverstone UK had also won by this team in 2014 and the team is still working to make good progress in the future in the field of engineering and technology.
