NUMS Invites Applications For Admission In Army Medical College

NUMS has invited the applications from the candidate for admission in the army medical college. The candidates who intend to apply are advised to go through the admission requirements mentioned by the authorities. It is notified to the candidates that for the MBBS degree program 55 seats have been allocated while for the BDS 15 seats are available. The selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of the merit.

Eligibility Criteria For Admission

To get admission in the MBBS or BDS degree programs, the National University of Medical Sciences has announced the following eligibility criteria. 

• The nationals of Pakistan/AJK/Gilgit-Baltistan can apply to the Army medical college
• The candidates must have obtained a minimum of 65% marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent exams.
• It is mandatory for the candidates to appear in the national MDCAT and secured at least 60% marks to meet the AMC eligibility criteria.
• The dual nationality holders and the overseas Pakistani are also eligible to apply if they have secured 65% marks in the FSc pre-medical or the equivalent study program. Moreover, the candidates must have passed the SAT-II with 60% marks.
• In the case of a foreign qualification, the candidates have to submit the equivalence certificate issued by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen.

Merit Determination Formula

The weightage formula for the announced admissions is mentioned below in the table. The merit will be calculated on the basis of marks obtained in the intermediate and entry test.

Application Procedure

• The candidates have to submit the online application form through the NUMS web portal. It is informed to the candidates that only online forms will be entertained and those received by post will be rejected.
• The applicants are required to create an account on the online portal through the CNIC or email address.
• The candidates have to upload the scanned copies of the matriculation certificate, HSSC pre-medical result card, CNIC/B-form, recent passport size color photographs, and paid fee challan.
• Along with the application form, Rs.3000/- have to be submitted as the application processing fee in any branch of HBL.
• Candidates are advised to be careful while filling the application form as after the submission no changes can be made.
• Once the admission is offered according to the merit and the priority of the candidates it will be considered final.
• The incomplete applications in any way will not be considered by the authorities.
