No Entry Test Will be Conducted For Admissions in Undergraduate Programs

With the recent advancement in education, the entry tests have become a major need that defines the interest of the students in a particular domain. Recently the Government College University has announced to change the admission criteria for various degree programs. Previously the authority conducted the entrance exams in which thousands of students appear that compete for the available seats in different departments.

Admissions On Open Merit

GCU is one of the biggest educational institutes of Pakistan that is playing a significant role by educating the students. The university offers admissions in diverse domains and now the admission will be based on open merit. The admission in the department of Computer Science, English literature, and many other fields will be solely carried out according to the merit defined by the respective authority. The decision has been taken in the admission council meeting where the undergraduate admission policy is also being approved.

Reserved Seats For Transgender

Besides eliminating the entrance test for the bachelor and master programs the university has also taken an initiative to provide the educational opportunity to transgender. It has been declared that reserved seats will be allocated for them that allow the transgender to study without facing any hurdle.
