Government College University (GCU) has increased the intake of LLB 100 to 150 students. The bar council of Pakistan has authorized the addition of 50 seats. This implies that the university will now be able to accommodate more students into the law programme than it was previously. Vice Chancellor Dr. Omar Chaudhry stated that the university is going to give an announcement of such 50 additional seats soon. BS Admission Fall 2026 Phase-2 (4-Years)

The GCU announces the Fall Admission 2026 for BS programs. The last date to apply for BS programs is August 8th, 2026. In order to get admission in BS Programs the candidates needs to pass the entry test to become eligible candiadtes for the admission in BS Programs.

Assesment Criteria For BS 4-Years Programs

GCU Lahore will conduct an entry test for candidates evaluation to finalize which candidates are eligible to get admission in BS Programs. How To Apply

1. The candidates can apply online at www.gcuonline.pk. The Admission Application processing fee is Rs.1000/- (Non-refundable) for each subject. The processing fee can be deposit in any branch of UBL across Pakistan. Payment via mobile app or UBL Omni is not acceptable.
2. The hard copy or printout of the admission form is not required to be submitted in any office of the University till the display of merit lists. However, the admission form along with copies of credentials will be required only for on-merit/short-listed candidates at the time of interviews/documents verification in their respective departments.

BS 5th Semester Admission (Without Test)

The GCU also announces the Fall Admission 2026 for BS 5th Semester Programs. The last date to apply for BS programs is August 8th, 2026. In order to get admission in BS Programs the candidates doesn't need to pass through the test procedure.

Eligibility Criteria For 5th Semester

Candidates with a minimum 2.30/4.00 CGPA in the Associate Degree Program (Session 2023-2026) are eligible to apply, the candidates who are waiting for their final result may also apply. provided they successfully complete the ADP without 'F' grade in any semester. Students who fail to complete the AD Programs are ineligible.

MS/Mphil Fall Admission 2026

The GCU announces the Fall Admission 2026 for MS/Mphil Programs. The last date to apply for MS/Mphil Programs is August 18th, 2026. In order to get admission in MS/Mphil Programs the candidates needs to pass the GCU-GAT-III Entry Test to become eligible candiadtes for the admission in MS/Mphil Programs. The GCU-GAT-III Entry Test will conduct on August 21st, 2026.

1. Apply online for the registration at www.gcuonline.pk and generate the challan form.
2. Processing fee of Rs. 1500/- to be deposited in any branch of UBL across Pakistan through challan.
3. Payment through UBL Mobile App/ Omni is not acceptable.
4. Roll No. slips and seating plan will be uploaded on the Portal and University's website before the test date.
5. No separate SMS/ email will be sent for intimation.
