New Admission Policy Announced For The Public Universities

According to the sources, the new admission policy for public universities has been confirmed. To facilitate the students belonging to the special category it has been finalized to new admission will be started from the mid of November and the first semester will start in the month of December. 

Conduction of Special Exams

Due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, all the educational boards have promoted the students to the next classes. However, the exams of the special category students will be conducted by the board authorities and their exams will be declared in November. Owing to this situation the changes have been made in the admission policy of the public universities. 

New Policy For Admissions

As per the new policy, the new semester will start late such as classes will be commenced in the last of December. The gap in the studies of the first semester will be covered in the summer vacations. Moreover, the universities will make the web portal for the admissions and the issuance of the merit lists. The health department will also make sure that everyone in the university will follow the SOP’s to save from the coronavirus. 

Reopening of Institutes

The higher education commission of Pakistan has announced to reopen the universities from 15th September 2020. The students of M.Phil, Ph.D., and the 7th semester will only be allowed to come to the university. According to the policy devised the students of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th semesters will take the online classes.
