Lahore, University of the Punjab is going to organize a laptop distribution ceremony on merit basis for newly admitted morning and evening students of the university. The ceremony will be organized Law College Ground, New Campus, at 11am.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif will be chief guest. More than 8,500 newly admitted students of 3rd year, 5th year, MPhil and PhD programs will receive laptops.
CM’s Special Assistant, Zaeem Qadri, while analyzing the arrangements of the ceremony said that field of information technology had made revolutions due to these steps.
Punjab University, Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology CEMB is conducting a lecture on “Frontiers of Stem Cell Research” today on January 7 at 2pm at a lecture room of the centre. University of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA’s Division of Regenerative Medicine Director Prof Dr Muhammad Ashraf will deliver a special lecture on this occasion.
