Lahore board of intermediate and secondary education has issued the revised schedule for the matric and intermediate annual exams 2021. The candidates are notified to check the schedule issued by the board authorities and prepare for the exams accordingly. Earlier the meeting of the national and command and operation Centre was held in which it had been decided to close the educational institutes till 28th April due to the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Moreover, the classes from grade nine to twelve will be resumed from 19th April. The federal education minister for education and professional training had announced that the annual exams of SSC and HSSC will be conducted after Eid. He clarified that for the current academic session the annual exams will be commenced to assess the preparation of the students and they will not be promoted without appearing in the annual board exams.
New Examination Schedule
The examination schedule has been issued for all Punjab boards that include BISE Lahore, BISE Gujranwala, BISE Rawalpindi, BISE Faisalabad, BISE Multan, BISE DG Khan, BISE Sargodha, and BISE Sahiwal. The meeting of the Punjab boards committee of chairpersons was held earlier in which the schedule for the commencement of the exams had been decided. Previously it had been announced that the annual exams of matric and intermediate will be held from 4th May 2021 and 12th June 2021 respectively. Moreover, it had been said that the result of the matric will be announced on 31st August 2021 and the result of the intermediate will be declared on 30th September 2021. According to the new schedule, the annual board exams of matric will be held from 25th May 2021 and the annual board exams of intermediate will be held from 3rd July 2021.
Exams In Sindh
In Sindh, the annual exams of the matric will be held from 1st July 2021 to 15th July 2021 and the intermediate exams will be commenced from 28th July 2021 to 16th August 2021. The government has ensured the proper implementation of SOPs during the commencement of the exams to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
