KU awards PhD, MPhil degrees to scholars

University of Karachi has granted 29 PhD as well as 9 MPhil degrees in different disciplines yesterday (Tuesday).

Amjad Obaidullah of Islamic Studies discipline, Sumayya Salim of Psychology discipline, Uzma Saleem and Arooj Fatima of Chemistry discipline, Zohaib Aziz of Statistics department, Dr. Urooj Mehmood of Molecular Medicine, Syed Ahsan Raza of Islamic Learning department, Maheen Khan of Zoology department and Rida Masood of Pharmaceutics department were granted along with Mphil degrees.

Whereas, Zehra Batool of Biochemistry department, M Hanif Khalid of Quran and Sunnah, Ghazala Yasmeen of Physiology department, Akbar Ali Jilani of ISPA, Nasreen Begum of Area Study  Centre Europe, Munazza Madni of Sociology department, Dr Shazia Akbar, Noshi Maria as well as Dr Fouzia Khan of Microbiology, Maqsood Ahmed Khan, Younis  Shafiq and Rabia Bushra of Pharmaceutics department, Rakshinda Ahmed and Tahira of Zoology department, Sardar Ahmed and Muhammad Irfan of Mass Communication department, Noshi Iram Zaman of Clinical Psychology, Amar Hussain  as well as Aziz-ur-Rahman from Political Science, Zainab Bibi from Biotechnology (KIBGE), Saifullah of Molecular Medicine department, Muhammad Atif Aftab from Usool-ud-Din, Seema Ashraf from Food Science and Technology, Asif Saleem from Arabic department, Gul Wahid of Islamic Learning, Naheed Begum from Genetics department, Saiyada Shadiah Masood from Chemistry department, Syeda Qadam Ali from Pharmaceutics plus Saima Mahmood of Pharmacology department were granted the PhD degrees.
