KPK To Upgrade The Education Sector Through Google Digital Technologies

KPK becomes the first province of Pakistan that has incorporated Google digital technologies in the education sector. Shahram Khan Tarakai, Khyber Pakhtunkhawa minister for elementary and secondary education has announced that all the preparations have been made to launch the “Google for Education” in the schools enabling the students to have problem-solving skills.

During the online meeting with the experts of “Google of Education,” the minister highlighted the need for technological advancement in the education sector as we are far behind in the race of technology. He said that the IT labs will be established and necessary training will be provided to the teachers and lab staff. This initiative has been taken to extend the next level system of education across the province so that the students can take the benefits from the opportunities provided and move with the latest trends. The minister furthermore added that all the basic IT skills would be taught to the students and digital contents would be used to train the students.

In this era of advancement, no one can deny the importance of IT education as it is considered as one of the basic needs of the students. Through IT education the students will be able to learn all the necessary skills that they can use in the future career and paved their pathway towards success. Moreover, due to its accessibility features, it can help the students to give their maximum potential. Shahram Khan Tarakai also emphasized the significance of IT education as it is a major tool that can assist the students to earn online through various platforms by using diverse ways. He added that the government is working to design the IT courses for the various educational levels such as primary, higher, and higher secondary grades.
