Peshawar: To introduce the similar education system, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary and Secondary Education Department (E&SED) has started revising the textbooks of all the levels.
As per the official documents, up till now the textbooks of up to class 5th have been revised.

The documents furthermore reads that the new books are enough easier to understand and organized in a way that will assist the aspirants conceptually rather than promoting rote learning.
Moreover, the official document stated that, the education department also holds a uniform and universal examination for class 5th in all the government as well as private sector schools.
The main objective of the exams was to enhance the quality of education in the province since the assessments provided information regarding shortcomings which was assisting the organizers to address service delivery in an efficient way.

While talking to the media sources, the president of All Primary School Teachers Association Peshawar district Azizullah Khan appreciated the hard work of the government to revise the textbooks.
“In the past, the books were quite difficult not just for aspirants but also for the teachers.”
The media adviser of KPK Elementary and Secondary Education Naji Ullah Khattak told the media sources:
“Up till now the textbooks being taught up to grade 5th have been revised after getting an idea from the educational experts.”
“No major modifications have been made in the textbooks, however the language has made enough convenient and understandable for the aspirants,” he added.
