HEC Announces CGI Fully Funded Postgraduate Scholarships 2021 for Pakistani Students

Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) is now inviting the applications from the residents of Pakistan / Azad Kammu & Kashmir (AJK) for Chulabhorn Graduate Institute Post-graduate Scholarship Program for the academic session 2021.

According to the details, these international fully funded scholarships are offered to Pakistani students for Master’s Degree (MS or Mphil) (18 years of education) in the fields of Applied Biological Sciences involving: Environmental Health, Environmental Toxicology and Chemical Sciences.

These international scholarships will be granted to candidates purely on merit basis, potential of the applicant and also the prospective impact of the work on the development of Pakistan.

Eligibility Criteria:

These scholarships are available for Pakistani/AJK candidates fulfilling the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

The Candidate must under 30 years of age as on October 30th, 2020.

The candidate must possess 16 years (Bachelor’s Degree) with a aggregate GPA of at least 3.00/4.00 in one of the give fields of study:

Sciences

• Chemistry 

• Biology 

• Biological Sciences 

• Molecular Biology 

• Environmental Sciences

Medical Sciences

• Medicine 

• Medical Technology

Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences

The candidates must have experience in scientific laboratory research

The candidates must have proven English proficiency, preferably on one of two recognized test of language proficienc i-e TOEFL or IELTS

The candidates must provide a statement of purpose enlightening their interests in the study

The award is available for a period of 6 weeks refresher courses in June 2021 followed by the period of two years Master’s (MS or Mphil) Degree, subject to an annual review of the satisfactory progress of the researcher. 

What CGI Post-Graduate Scholarship Will Cover?

These international scholarships will cover the overall tuition fees along with the other academic fees, return airfare ticket, housing expenses, monthly stipend, book stipend, health insurance as well as others.
