The Government of Sindh education authorities recently conducted a press conference in Karachi where the current circumstances of Pakistan were compared with the other countries in reference to the spread of pandemic coronavirus. The education authorities showed optimism towards the control of the situation that it will get better till May 2020 but if the disease is not contained till then the education department will have to make some changes accordingly. However, the Minister for Education Saeed Ghani released the new academic schedule for Secondary school certificate matric students and Higher secondary school certificate intermediate students for their upcoming annual examination session 2020.
Academic Schedule Of Matric Examination 2020
According to the new academic schedule, the annual exams of 1st grade to 8th grade will be held from 1st June 2020 to 15th June 2020 in Sindh province and after 15th June new classes will be started for the students. However, the annual exams of matric 9th class and 10th class will be conducted from 15th June 2020 onwards and the examination session will last until 15 days. It has been requested to the Sindh Board of intermediate & secondary education that after examination the annual result of the matric result shall be announced on 15th August 2020.
New Academic Schedule Of Intermediate Examination 2020
The Minister for Education Saeed Ghani also informed that the intermediate annual examination will be held on 6th July 2020. The matric and intermediate exams will be conducted in the afternoon shift. However, the 12th class result will be announced on 15th September 2020 and the academic year of 11th and 12th class will start on 1st August 2020.
Commencement of Intermediate Classes
It was also stated that the admission of the 11th class will start on 15th July 2020 and the commencement of classes will be from 1st August 2020. The admissions will be given to the students based on their 9th class result. The students who will qualify the 10th class exam will continue their further studies and the failed students will have to pass the matric examination to get further admission.
