Islamabad, The SSC Annual Exam’s Result 2013 has been announced by Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Thursday and girls grabbed the top positions.
According to the result statistics, as many as 53,697 students were registered for the exam out of which 69,136 students succeeded in it and make pass percentage of 77.67. Generally, top five positions were taken by girls in the science subjects while in humanities group; boys have got four top positions.
In science group, as many as 43,489 students took the exam and 40,278 passed in it while in the humanities group 6265 passed in the exam out of 8344 students.
In the Science Group, Rehmeen Zahid of the Rangers Public School, Rahim Yar Khan and Abdul Wasay Ikhlaq of the F.G Boys Public High School, Wah Cantt both got first position with 1,026 marks. Noor Khalid and Mohammad Umer Arshad, both of Army Public School, Rawalpindi Cantt got second position by securing 1,025 marks. The third position was takenbetween Sana Riaz and Tooba Anwaar of the Fazaia Inter-college Chaklala and Army Public School, Kohat Cantt respectively at 1,024 marks.
In the Humanities Group, Mohammad Umair and Ubaid Riaz of the Institute of Islamic Sciences, Islamabad got first and second position by securing 938 and 926 marks respectively. The third position went to Shareen Shafi of Al-Amaal English High School, UAE with 924 marks.
On this occasion, Baleegh-ur-Rehman said the government is expanding the role of Federal Board to control private educational institutions as well. The Board is dispatching the result cards of the students and sending through their respective institutions while private candidates will get at their addresses mentioned in their admission forms.
