Islamabad: The federal government has shown its negligence over the presence of an organized network of Daesh in 3 major universities of the Capital.

According to the online received document, the Islamic International University Islamabad (IIUI) is at the top among those universities where almost 1782 aspirants of 39 countries were studying.

Furthermore, the document exposed that the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has no record of these international students.

In this regard, a representative of higher education commission on the condition of privacy told that the different international aspirants have been admitted in varsities registered in the commission against the rules and regulations.

The majority of these aspirants were Afghan residents along with the students of Arab countries including Yemen, Iraq and China as well.

“Almost 1782 aspirants of 39 countries are admitted In the university. Out of these total students, the majority is of the Afghan students which are 671, Chinese 579, Thailand 104, Nigeria 30, Saudi Arab 24, India 11, Indonesia 94, Yemen 10, Turkey 23 whereas the number of female aspirants in International Islamic University Afghan residents are 36, China 249 and Indonesia included”, the document added and maintained that most of the international aspirants have frozen their semester and return to their states for their long stay in Pakistan.

The document furthermore reads that the majority of international aspirants were supposedly involved in illegal activities like Uganda based student Sarwara has organized his network which has not been checked by the Interior Ministry or the higher education commission up till now.
