The Punjab Higher Education Department has announced an immediate postponement of all academic examinations originally planned for Wednesday, May 7, 2025. The decision affects both public and private institutions across the province, including universities, colleges, and boards under the Punjab government.
According to an official circular, the move was approved by the concerned authorities, though no specific reason was cited for the delay. Examinations administered by the Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs), as well as those conducted by affiliated universities and colleges, will now be held at a later date.
The notification confirms that revised schedules will be issued soon, with students and institutions advised to await further updates from the education department.
