Lahore: The chief minister of Punjab, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has approved the new Teacher Training Program during a high level meeting organized on Monday.

As per the press statement, the heads of schools would be given 28 days training and implementation under this program which will assist in developing the teachers according to international standards.

Shehbaz Sharif said that the training of teachers is very necessary in improving the quality of education as the talented and trained teachers can give better education to the aspirants.

During the meeting CM said that the Punjab government has developed a new comprehensive strategy for the training of teachers and told that they would be provided educational training at primary, elementary as well as higher education levels besides launching the school leadership development program.

The CM said that the advanced technology will be completely utilized in training of the teachers and the training institutes would be developed as the centers of excellence.

The Provincial Minister for Schools Education Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, Advisor Dr. Umer Saif, Chairperson of PEF Engineer Qamar ul Islam Raja, Chief Secretary, Secretary Schools Dr. Allah Bakhsh Malik as well as the educational experts attended the meeting.
