Karachi, Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has announced that mark sheets of SSC Part-I (Class IX) Science Group annual examination 2012 will be ready for collection on November 26, 2012.
While mark sheets for schools of New Karachi, North Nazimabad, Gulberg, Liaquatabad, Jamshed and Gulshan-e-Iqbal towns could be collected from the conference hall of the Block B of BSEK, while the mark sheets of Keamari, SITE, Lyari, Korangi, Orangi and Balida on November 27 and mark sheets of Saddar, Shah Faisal, Landhi, Malir, Bin Qasim and Gadap towns on November 28, 2012.
BISE Karachi (Board of Intermediate Education Karachi) was established as separate entity in 1974 through the Sindh Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education. This Board has the power to organize, regulate, develop and control Intermediate Education within its jurisdiction. BIEK Karachi conducts inter examinations for Karachi.
Karachi Board mission is to provide progressive education and examination services to the nation. The future of a nation depends mainly on its educational system. Education sets the path for development and helps to achieve the desired goals. Therefore, Board of Secondary Education Karachi is striving hard to take measures/steps to improve the quality of education in the country.
The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi is not only an examining body but is also responsible for maintaining and controlling the standard of education and other activities, which certify physical, moral and spiritual development of the college students.
The Board has the power to organize, regulate, develop and control Intermediate Education. The controlling Authority of the Board is the Governor of Sindh or his applicant. The Chairman is the principal administrative and academic officer of the Board, while the Secretary has responsibility of the academic and administrative Sector and the Controller of Examinations is the in charge of the Examination Section.
The mentioned officers and the Audit officer are appointed by the Controlling Authority of the Board, while other officers are also appointed by the Board on the recommendation of the appointment Committee. In the year, 1974, there were only 17 officers and 113 officials, now we have 51 officers and 246 officials.
