Karachi: Board of Intermediate and Secondary education, Karachi on Monday announced 2nd year annual exams result 2017 of home economics, differently-abled students in humanities as well as diploma in physical education.
The acting controller examination of BISE Karachi board, Muhammad Jafar, announced the results of annual examinations a month before the expected result declaration date.

In Home economics group, total 268 aspirants were enrolled at the Ra’ana Liaquat Ali Khan Government College for Home Economics, the only college that offers home economics to inter level students in Karachi.
Out of total 268 students, 264 appeared for the exams while 172 candidates were declared successful along with the overall passing percentage of 65.15%.
Out of 172 pass aspirants of home economics, 5 student’s secured A-1 grades, 39 students secured A grades, 53 students secured B grades, 51 aspirants secured C while 24 students managed to get D grades respectively.

For the faculty of differently-abled students in humanities group, 70 students out of total 71 were declared successful, making the overall passing percentage of 98.59%.
A-1 grades were obtained by 47 aspirants, whereas 20 students obtained A grades along with the 3 aspirants getting B grades.
Total 22 aspirants were enrolled for the 2n year annual exams for the diploma in physical education, out of which 21 appeared in the exams.
As per the announced results, almost 12 students managed to pass the exams, resulting in a overall passing percentage of 57.14 %.

7 aspirants obtained B grades, 4 aspirants obtained C grades while 1 aspirants passed the examinations along with D grade.
