Application date for PM Laptop Scheme extended till November 15th, 2017

Islamabad: The aspirants registered in PhD, MS, M.Phil and Masters as well as undergraduate programmes at the government sector universities can apply for the Prime Minister’s (PM) Laptop Scheme (Phase IV and V) until November 15^th, 2017.

As per the information provided by the official source, the date for the registration of PM laptop scheme was extended from September 30^th, 2017 to November 15^th, 2017 to facilitate large number of students.

The special quota was also reserved for the aspirants registered in the 2-year and 3-year DAE programme at public sector colleges of technology and also the aspirants of FA/FSC, BA/BSC, and MA/MSC of government sector graduate and postgraduate institutes located in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Islamabad Capital Territories (ICT) quota was also reserved for the disabled aspirants.

The aspirants who will meet the eligibility criteria which is mention at “www.hec.gov.pk/laptops”, can visit Prime Minister Laptop Scheme portal, http://pmnls.hec.gov.pk, for their registration.

The official sources furthermore added that, this scheme was launched to improve the scope of research as well as quality education in the country and increase access to information technology.

The Pakistani students studying in government sector educational institute of Pakistan recognized by the Higher Education Commission were advised to register or update their profiles online before November 15^th, 2017.
