Islamabad: According to the annual Open Doors Report, total number of Pakistani students studying in United States for the 2014-15 academic year rose to 5,354, an increase of 8.5% over the earlier year.
The increasing number of Pakistanis who select to study in America is already noteworthy and we expect this upward trend to continue.
Cultural Attach at the American Embassy Dr. Daniel S.Mattern said that they share Pakistani culture as well as values while receiving some of the best education in the world. He has given this statement while addressing the Pakistani students who are leaving the US for study.
The aspirants who participated in today’s pre departure orientation will join a growing cadre of Pakistanis who are chasing higher education in the US, said Dr Daniel S. Mattern.

70 aspirants who will study at American colleges as well as universities starting this fall attended a pre departure location in Islamabad hosted by Education USA at United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP).
Likewise orientation sessions were organized in Lahore and Karachi for a total of 188 aspirants.
The aspirants will be registered in undergraduate and graduate programs at colleges and universities throughout United States.
