7,516 engineers apply to PEC for registration in 4 months

Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) has received total 7,516 applications from the engineers for their registration along with the body during the last 4 months.

As per the official authorities of Ministry of Science and Technology, almost 1,593 applications were received in September 2015, 1297 were received in October 2015 while 2966 applications were received in November 2015 as well as 1,660 applications were received in December 2015.

The sources moreover said that the total build up was of almost 4,248 applications which put this number to 11,764 after receiving 7,516 applications during these 4 months. During this period 10,312 engineers were registered.  While providing the further details they said that 1,402 engineers were registered in the month of September 2015, 10, 18 in October 2015, 6,743 in November 2015 and 1,149 were registered in December 2015. Farther than these applications they said that 58 were rejected on different grounds and over non-completion of needed criteria.
