31000 students to appear in BSEK SSC Part 2 supply exams

Karachi, Board of Secondary Education Karachi BSEK has made all the arrangements to conduct supplementary examinations of SSC part-II class X which is going to start from October 23, 2012 for which 44 examination centers have been setup for boys and 39 for girls. The number of students appearing in supplementary examination is 31000.

Chairman BSEK Fasihuddin Khan held meetings with officials of board to review the arrangements. The meeting formed different committees consisting of senior teachers to pay surprise visits to the examination centers and report back to chairman. The teams have been authorized to take steps for curbing use of unfair means during the examination.

The meeting also discussed dispatching examination material to the centers in time and maintaining secrecy of question papers.
It was told that Examination Reporting Center under the supervision of a senior officer has been established in Board office to receive complaints and take immediate action. The phone numbers of Center are 99260266- 99260251 and 99260252- extension 327.

BISE Karachi (Board of Intermediate Education Karachi) was established as separate entity in 1974 through the Sindh Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education. The Chairman is the principal administrative and academic officer of the Board, while the Secretary has responsibility of the academic and administrative Sector and the Controller of Examinations is the in charge of the Examination Section.
