Curtain falls on Indian movies

As tension rises amongst India and Pakistan post Uri assault, and extremist Indians threatening Pakistani artists to leave the nation, Pakistan has now requested to boycott Indian movies in response.

Pakistan is not going to screen any Bollywood movie in September and October.

Bollywood film 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' is due to release on September 30, which is unrealistic to be showcased in Pakistan on account of strained relations.

Previousily, an Indian radical gathering Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) that made sense of this was the perfect time to leave political indefinite quality gave Pakistani actors in India a 48-hour due date to leave the nation.

This danger by the radical gathering was trailed by another by an Indian columnist, Soumyadipta Banerjee, who in a post told Pakistani actor Fawad Khan and others to leave the nation.

While Pakistan banned the screening of Bollywood movies, the whole film business will be influenced as our silver screens depend on them for a steady flow of income. More than 70 percent of its business originates from Bollywood and Hollywood.
