Azad Jammu and Kashmir University Subject List for BA Private Candidates

Private candidates who want to get admission in BA program have to choose two elective subjects and one optional subject. Candidates have to pass the Compulsory subject of Islamic Studies/Ethics and Pakistan Studies separately in the University Examinations.
 
List of compulsory, elective and optional subjects is given below.
 
Compulsory Subjects:
English Language 
Arabic
Islamic Studies and Pakistan Studies
 
Elective Subjects:(200 marks each, Choose 2 subjects)
Agriculture
Agronomy
Art and Design
Education
English
Food Technology
Geology
Horticulture
Kashmir Studies
Sociology
 
Optional Subjects(100 marks, choose 1 subject)
Agriculture
Agronomy
Art and Design
Education
English
Food Technology
Geology
Horticulture
Kashmir Studies
Sociology
 
No candidate shall be permitted to get optional subject, which he has taken as elective subject.
 
All the candidates who are appearing for the first time will take the Examination as per new syllabus in the subjects in which Examination is being held according to both New & Old Syllabi.
