The Massey University Doctoral Scholarship aims to help top-notch students, both local and international, who are studying for their PhDs at Massey University in New Zealand, whether full-time or part-time.

The Massey University Doctoral Scholarship is open to both full-time and part-time students pursuing a PhD, DClinPsych, or DSW. They also have specific scholarships for Māori and Pacific students. This scholarship covers a stipend and tuition fees also.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the scholarship, you need to:

• Be in the first year of your doctoral program or have an admission offer for it at Massey University.
• Maintain a GPA of 7.0 or above.
• Work on a research topic that is important to the University.
• Agree to the scholarship terms as stated in the rules.

Scholarship Value and Tenure

A doctoral scholarship comes with a yearly stipend of $30,000 and covers tuition and fees for up to 36 months if you're studying full-time. If you're going part-time, you’ll get $18,000 a year and help with tuition and fees for up to 60 months. They only pay for tuition at the domestic rate for the doctoral course itself. If you take extra courses during your study, like during the provisional registration year, those won't be covered. The scholarship starts in the year you receive it and lasts a maximum of 36 months for full-timers and 60 months for part-timers.
