Tevta PBTE Punjab Board of Technical Education was established in 1999 through an Ordinance by merging Training Institutes from 7 different Departments of the Government of Punjab, as a Special Institution. Tevta offers short courses like technical Education, computer science and Vocational Training Institute. Institutes in Punjab who teach the subjects of D. Com, DBA, DAE, DDM etc should be affiliated with PBTE and it is necessary for all these institutes of public and private sector to get affiliation with PBTE.
