Federal Medical and Dental College is the first medical institute in the capital city of Pakistan. It is located in Islamabad. Every year a large number of students apply in the FMDC entry test. Every year the Federal Medical and Dental College allows 100 students in one batch a year. Only those students eligible to pass the test who succeed with the highest marks. Successful candidates are listed in the merit list according to their numbers.

FMDC Overview

Federal Medical and Dental College is a public sector hospital in Islamabad. FMDC conducts the NTS entry test for students to apply in the institute. Students who have passed their MDCAT with the highest marks are also eligible to apply in the FMDC. Candidates who want to apply in FMDC must have 70 % marks in the test. Applicants who are desiring to get admission in FMDC are informed that they must have a domicile of their province. Candidates must have passed their FSc pre medical or the equivalent program to apply in the FMDC.

For admission purposes, FMDC first took the test of candidates who applied for it. After conducting the test, FMDC announces the result of FMDC test. Through the result, students came to know about their performance. As the result is declared by FMDC, it becomes available on our website. 

Entry Test for Medical Programs

The exam for admission to the MBBS and BDS programs at FMDC Islamabad are administered by National Testing Service NTS. In order to be considered for admission to MBBS and BDS programs in 2024, all applicants must pass the medical entrance exam. Candidates must have to be prepared for their entry test exam. 

Federal Medical Dental College Test Dates

It is to be informed that the last date for the submission of the admission form was 25th July 2024. However, the FMDC test 2024 will be conducted between the 30th of August to 30th of September by PMC (Pakistan Medical Commission).

FMDC offers a total of 100 MBBS seats. Only 100 applicants are chosen for the MBBS program at the Federal Medical and Dental College in Islamabad from all over Pakistan.
