Peshawar board scheduled matric class exams according to which the date sheets for matric exams announced in February and in March the examinations had said to be commenced. But, due to the enforcement of lockdown throughout the country because of the Coronavirus pandemic, the government of Pakistan had decided that no more examination will be conducted. The board of education then, under the instruction by the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, arranged a promotion policy for the students and all the students promoted to the next classes on behalf of their previous examination or academic performance.
Cities Covered By Peshawar Board
Peshawar board is the largest board of education throughout the KPK province. The board of education covers almost all the main districts that are linked with the Peshawar division. The districts covered by the Peshawar board are included in the Peshawar district, Charsadda district, and Chitral (upper & lower) district. Students from all these areas are called to get registered under BISE Peshawar and they also appear for examination under this board of education.
BISE Peshawar: History
Peshawar board of education was recognized in 1961 under the action by the government of KPK. It was aimed to regulate the education system at matric as well as intermediate levels from the prescribed areas by BISE Peshawar. In the beginning, the Peshawar board was responsible for conducting the examination of the whole of the province but later it was decided to establish some other boards of education to maintain the quality and values of the education system in the province.

It was calculated that a total of 73833 students became registered for the matric class annual examination under BISE Peshawar. However, all the students are promoted to the next classes without conducting the examination. In this way, the Peshawar board declares a 100% result in 2021.
