Top Position Holders

The Gujranwala Board Intermediate Exam 2026 Top Position Holders are the standout achievers of the combined HSSC Part I (11th Class) and HSSC Part II (12th Class) annual examinations conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Gujranwala. Every year, the board recognises the top performing students who secure the highest total marks across all groups and streams.

Position holders represent academic excellence and are celebrated for their exceptional performance in one of Pakistan’s most competitive educational regions. Their achievements are officially announced by the board after the results are declared and published online.

What Are Position Holders?

Position holders are students who attain the highest aggregate marks within the Gujranwala Board in their respective categories (such as Pre‑Medical, Pre‑Engineering, Commerce, Humanities, etc.). These students are ranked based on their final marks in the annual intermediate examinations and are typically listed as:

• 1st Position Holder – Highest overall marks

• 2nd Position Holder – Second highest marks

• 3rd Position Holder – Third highest marks

In cases where students obtain identical marks, position holders may be shared.
