The individual who fulfills the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:

Position/Job Title Wing Head - Equity Trading
Reporting to Divisional Head Equities Market Division
Educational/
Professional Qualification
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree from a HEC recognized University/ Institute.
  • Candidates having Master's degree and / or having CA / ACMA / CFA will be preferred.
  • Candidates having any professional certification will be preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial sector / Banks / Financial Institutions (DFI) / Audit firm.
Other Skills/ Expertise/ Knowledge Required
  • Expertise required in financial modeling for equity valuation and portfolio assessment.
  • Well versed with regulatory requirements relevant to equities portfolio management.
  • Sound understanding of domestic and global macro-economic fundamentals and indicators.
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities
  • To assist Divisional Head in devising equity investment strategies.
  • To execute implementation of equity investment strategies_
  • To administer and manage portfolio, including investments in secondary market, mutual funds, and other approved products.
  • To execute trades on behalf of bank within approved limits.
  • To evaluate investment and trading opportunities for sustained returns,
  • To monitor industry trends, news and on-going developments of major companies in the portfolio_
  • To monitor and measure portfolio risk.
  • To ensure internal controls are in place to mitigate portfolio risks.
  • Any other responsibility assigned by Head of Treasury.
Place of Posting Karachi
Assessment Interview(s) Only shortlisted applicants strictly meeting the above-mentioned basic eligibility criteria will be invited for panel interview(s).
Employment Type The employment will be on contractual basis, for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Bank's Policy / rules.
