One of the largest and most prestigious commercial banks having a vast nationwide network of branches is looking for dynamic and challenge-oriented professional with proven record of accomplishments in the area of Inclusive Development for the position based at Karachi.

The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:

Position / Job Title Unit Head — Commercial Business Wing (OG-I / AVP)
Reporting to Wing Head — Commercial Business Wing
Academic / Professional
Qualification
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree from HEC recognized University / Institute.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance / Economics would be preferred.
  • Master's degree would be preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum 05 years of experience in banking with at least 03 years of experience in Commercial / SME lending and Agriculture would be preferred.
Outline of Main Duties /
Responsibilities
  • To analyze and process commercial credit proposals received from Regional Executive —
  • Inclusive Development at regions by working with and as a Unit Head of a team of
  • Regional Managers / Relationship Officers.
  • To manage TAT of credit proposals of commercial portfolio and keep track of proposals in pipeline at regional offices.
  • To ensure completeness, correctness and   presentation of credit proposals as per approved format.
  • To assess security / collateral and margin / Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) requirement.
  • To check credit proposals to ensure compliance of SBP Prudential Regulations and Bank policies.
  • To coordinate with Credit Risk Management Group (CRMG) for arranging approval of credit proposals.
  • To coordinate with regions to get information on credit proposals and respond to IDG or
  • CRMG queries.
  • To keep himself / herself and his / her team updated on the various changes made in the products, credit policies and SBP schemes.
  • To track and remind regions for timely renewals / review of commercial accounts both within credit approval authority of Regions and Head Office.
  • To coordinate with relevant stake holders and keep track of commercial portfolio.
  • To execute Rapid Portfolio Review (RRR) of commercial portfolio on quarterly basis.
  • To prepare and put up commercial portfolio review statements to Wing Head -
  • Commercial Business Wing for necessary follow up to regularize the anomalies.
  • To perform any other assignment assigned by the supervisor(s).
Assessment Test / Interview(s) Only shortlisted candidates strictly meeting the above-mentioned basic eligibility criteria will be invited for test and / or panel interview(s).
Employment Type The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Bank's Policy / rules.
