Government College University (GCU) Lahore: Vacant Positions

GCU Lahore is seeking insightful and experienced academics to teach at the Intermediate level. Successful candidates will undergo a month-long mandatory induction training.

Vacant Positions & Eligibility

The university is hiring for the Department of Intermediate Studies in the following two categories:

Sr. Position Eligibility Criteria
1 Visiting Faculty

• BA/BSc (Hons), MA/M.Sc, or MPhil.

 

• Preference given to those with teaching experience in Government or HEC-recognized institutions.
2 Senior Visiting Faculty

• MA/M.Sc/MPhil with at least 30 years of teaching experience; OR

 

• PhD with at least 05 years of teaching experience.

Subjects/Disciplines Available

Applications are open for the following 20 subjects:

  • Arabic, Biology, Chemistry, Civics, Computer Science, Commerce, Economics, English, Geography, History, Islamic Studies, Mathematics, Physical Education, Persian, Philosophy, Physics, Psychology, Punjabi, Statistics, and Urdu.

  2. Processing Fee:

    • Amount: Rs. 500 (Non-refundable).

    • Payment Method: HBL GCU Branch challan, online transfer to HBL A/C No. 2398-70001616-03, or Bank Draft/Postal Order in favor of "Vice Chancellor GCU Lahore."

  3. Submission: Send the filled form, original fee receipt, attested copies of testimonials, experience certificates, CNIC, and CV via post.

  4. Deadline: Applications must reach the Registrar's Office by May 18, 2026.

  5. Interviews: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. No TA/DA will be provided.
