Experience: 15-years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization; OR 10-years post-PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.

Minimum Number of Publications: 15 research publications with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years in HEC/PEC recognized journals.

OR

Minimum Qualification: PhD or relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.

b. Master's degree (foreign) or MPhil or equivalent degree awarded after 18-years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.

Experience: No experience required.

c. 1st professional degree (6-years) in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.

Experience: 2-years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
04 LECTURER
(BPS-18)
Age: 21-35 Years		 Commerce & Finance 18 Minimum Qualification: First Class MS/MPhil/equivalent degree awarded after 18-years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution; OR First Class 4-Years BS degree awarded after 16-years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.

Experience: No experience required for MS/MPhil degree holder. For BS degree holders experience will be as per HEC appointment criteria.

Economics 18 Minimum Qualification: LLB Degree (First Class) from an HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.

X. GENERAL CONDITIONS
  1. Recruitment will be made on contract basis in accordance with the University Recruitment Policy 2023 available at link https://gcu.edu.pk/Documents/HREC-2023.pdf.
  2. Applicants through proper channel will be considered.
  3. Incomplete applications or applications received after due date will not be entertained in any case.
  4. The prescribed application form (may be downloaded from the University website www.gcu.edu.pk) along-with attested copies of testimonials, 02 recent photographs, CNIC and a bank draft / deposit slip of Rs. 3000/- (non-refundable) in favour of Treasurer, Government College University, Lahore should reach in the office of the Deputy Registrar (HR), GC University Lahore, Katchery Road, Lahore till 15.08.2024 during office hours.
  5. The processing fee is not required to be deposited for the positions at Sr. No. 1 & 2.
  6. The applicants already working in Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous organizations should apply through proper channel.
  7. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview and No TA / DA will be paid.
  8. The University reserves the right not to fill / withdraw any post / withhold the appointment against any post without assigning any reason.
  9. No application will be entertained by hand.
  10. Applications submitted will become the property of the University.
  11. In case of any dispute / grievance, the decision of the Vice Chancellor shall be final.
