The University of Turbat is a public research university established in 2006. It has affiliations with Higher Education Commission (Pakistan) and Pakistan Bar Council. The University is situated in Turbat city of Baluchistan district. It is an only university for the people of Makran divisions and its premises. The people welcomed its establishment with zeal and passion. There are a number of projects under process of developing in Baluchistan district, the university is offering plethora of technical courses and short diplomas that will lead youth to attain skills and training required for CPEC project. The university has received a large number of female and male student’s admissions in last six years. The university has faculty of engineering and sciences, faculty of law, faculty of commerce, economics and business administration and faculty of arts and social sciences. The university is offering a strong research based education to students of all streams. A number of private colleges in Makran division area have affiliations with university of Turbat. The university is running scholarships and fee grants programs with funding of HEC and Baluchistan government.
