Job Summary / Major Responsibilities

The Unit Head - Credit Card Reconciliation will be responsible for the following:

  1. Reconciliation Leadership: Lead and supervise the daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of credit card & merchant settlements, MDR, interchange fees, processor statements, and internal General Ledger accounts.

  2. Card Business Oversight: Oversee both sides of the card business — issuing (cardholder transactions) and acquiring (merchant settlements and POS networks) — along with the reconciliation of scheme charges and vendor invoices.

  3. Stakeholder Relationship Management: Maintain relationships and communication with the schemes (Visa, MasterCard, UPI), settlement banks, and third-party processors.

  4. Transaction Monitoring: Monitor daily transactions to detect, investigate, and escalate potential misuse, system errors, or unauthorized charges.

  5. Systemic Issue Resolution: Identify systemic processing flaws or errors by working closely with vendors/IT and core banking teams.

  6. Automation Initiatives: Lead automation initiatives to transition manual tracking to a specialized reconciliation software platform.

  7. Training & Development: Design and deliver regular training updates regarding card network rules and operational controls.

  8. Management Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive management reports outlining aging breaks, open risks, and financial impacts for review purposes.

Eligibility Criteria

 
Criterion Requirement
Qualification Minimum Bachelor's or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized local/foreign university
Experience Minimum 9 years banking/non-banking experience
Age Up to 55 years as on date of application
