POSITION DETAILS

S. No. 1: Treasurer (BPS-20)

• Number of Positions: 01

• Pay Scale: BPS-20 (Management Position)

• Job Summary: The Treasurer is the chief financial officer of the university, responsible for the overall financial management, accounting, budgeting, and audit functions. The role requires strategic financial planning and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and university statutes.

• Required Qualification & Experience:

  • Education: Must possess a First Division degree (16 years of education) in Business Administration (with Specialization in Finance) or Commerce from a university or Degree Awarding Institution (DAI) recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

  • OR must be a member of PIPFA (FPA) .

  • Experience: Must have a minimum of 17 years of post-qualification experience in financial management and accounts.

  • Experience Setting: This experience must have been gained in a University, a Government Department, or an Autonomous Organization.

  • Grade Requirement: The experience must have been served in pay scale BPS-17 or its equivalent and above.

S. No. 2: Liaison Manager - University-Industry Interlinkages & Technology Transfer (BPS-19)

• Number of Positions: 01

• Pay Scale: BPS-19 (Management Position)

• Job Summary: The Liaison Manager will act as a bridge between the university and the industry, fostering partnerships, facilitating technology transfer, and creating linkages for research, internships, and collaborative projects. This role involves administrative and academic coordination to align university outputs with market and industry needs.

• Required Qualification & Experience:

  • Option A (PhD Holders):

    • Education: PhD in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.

    • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of teaching or administrative experience.

  • Option B (MS/M.Phil Holders):

    • Education: MS/M.Phil in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.

    • Experience: Minimum of 13 years of teaching or administrative experience.

  • Experience Setting & Grade: The required experience must be in a University, Government, or Autonomous Body in BPS-17 and above.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS & TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Application Form: Applications must be submitted on the prescribed form available on the University website: www.bkuc.edu.pk.

2. Post Identification: Candidates must clearly indicate the position applied for (e.g., "Treasurer") and their relevant specialization/skills on the form.

3. Application Fee: A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 10,000/- must be submitted with each application.

   • Payment Methods:

     • Deposit online OR via Demand Draft in favor of the Treasurer, Bacha Khan University, Charsadda.

     • OR through online payment to the University Account at Bank of Khyber, Charsadda Branch (Branch Code: 5088, Account No. 3006577953).

   • Document: The original receipt of the fee must be attached to the application form.

4. Required Documents (Attach Attested Photocopies):

   • All academic transcripts/DMCs, degrees, and certificates.

   • Experience certificates.

   • Last Pay Certificate (LPC).

   • Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).

   • Three (03) recent passport-size photographs.

5. Foreign Qualifications: Candidates with foreign degrees must submit an Equivalence Certificate issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad.

6. Eligibility Cut-off Date: The eligibility of candidates in all respects (qualification, experience, age, etc.) will be determined as of the closing date of the advertisement.

7. For Serving Candidates: Candidates already in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Bodies must apply through the proper channel.

8. Multiple Applications: Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application form, fee, and documents for each post.

9. Shortlisting: Only eligible candidates will be shortlisted for test/interview as per the University’s Statutes, Rules, and Regulations. The University is not responsible for non-receipt or delayed receipt of interview call letters.

10. Governing Rules: Selected candidates will be governed by the Act, Statutes, Rules, and Regulations of Bacha Khan University, Charsadda.

11. Prohibition of Influence: Any attempt to influence the recruitment process will result in immediate disqualification.

12. No TA/DA: No Travel Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be admissible for appearing in the test or interview.

13. CGPA Equivalence: A CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 will be considered equivalent to a First Division.

14. Important Note for Previous Applicants: Candidates who applied for the post of Liaison Manager (S.No.2) via previous Advertisement No. 2023(2) need not apply again. However, they may submit an updated application form to update their credentials before the deadline.

15. Submission Deadline: Complete application forms along with all required documents must reach the office of the undersigned on or before 28-08-2026 (within one month from the date of publication). Incomplete or late applications will be rejected.

16. University Rights: The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or to cancel any or all advertised posts without assigning any reason.
