Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO), an integrated energy conglomerate, is a Joint Venture between Pakistan and Emirate of Abu Dhabi. PARCO owns and operates Pakistan's most modern refinery, over 2,000 krns of pipeline network, strategic storage facilities and marketing operations. The Company has Joint Ventures with renowned international companies and is continually following an aggressive growth strategy with planned expansions, acquisitions and penetration into new markets.

PARCO is seeking applications for the following positions:

SECURITY OFFICERS

Qualifications & Competencies:

The candidate should possess minimum Bachelors' degree with specialised security certifications and trainings, preferably Pakistan Staff Course qualified. He should be capable of managing security arrangements at the company's spread-out installations and should have the maturity level to deal with local and regional administration, law enforcement agencies, legal experts, etc. The position requires an energetic person possessing exceptional leadership skills and ability to work under stress. Must be a computer literate.

Experience:

Up to 10 years' relevant experience of managing security operations in a large organisation, preferably in the oil & gas sector. Retired Armed Forces' commissioned officers of the rank of Major/Lieutenant Colonel/Colonel or equivalent, having completed colour service with satisfactory retirement order, will be preferred.

Responsibilities:

• The incumbent will be directly responsible for implementing and supervising security function at various company sites and installations, in accordance with the company policy and relevant procedures.
• Assisting in maintaining liaison and coordination with law enforcement agencies, security service providers, legal advisors, adjacent industries, etc.
• Security risk analysis and assisting in developing security plans.
• Coordinating the process of monitoring/maintaining training standards of the company's security teams and third-party staff.
• Evaluating security risks and threats; preparing and implementing security plans. Prepare Business Continuity Plan.
• Taking all possible measures for protection of Company assets and personnel.
• Creating deterrence to subversive activities through surveillance and preparedness.
• Compliance with Company requirements and Company regulations.
• Contributing to all security related investigation cases.
• Managing and controlling security costs.

Age: Maximum 55 years
Location: Anywhere in Pakistan. Job involves extensive travelling.

ASSISTANT SECURITY OFFICERS

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Intermediate or equivalent with Junior Leadership Course. Preference will be given to individuals who have qualified Basic Intelligence Course or Administration Course from the Army School of Logistic.
• Ability to lead, control and train security staff and improve their performance.
• Ability to assess threats and risks.
• Good language skills with command over Urdu and preferably regional languages.
• Medical category "Aye".

Experience:

A retired Junior Commissioned Officer CO) rank or equivalent or above from the Armed Forces of Pakistan, with completion of colour service and satisfactory retirement order. Preference will be given to individuals having a minimum of 15 years of security services in fighting arms with or without combination of field intelligence experience or service in military police, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Executing Security Plans, including conduct of patrolling and security of premises, with the help of instruments and equipment of technical security.
• Proven experience of effective command and control in challenging operational environment.
• Proven experience of handling technical monitoring surveillance equipment, conduct of security checks/inspecting buildings and access control, etc.
• Assist Area Security Officer on all security related matters.
• Investigate security issues, accidents and incidents, etc. and prepare reports.
• Liaison with Law Enforcement agencies and local administration

Age: Should not exceed 50 years.
