CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Applications are invited from qualified and experienced candidates for appointment on a purely contractual basis for an initial period of one (01) year for the Chief Secretary’s Service Delivery Unit (CSSDU). Appointments will be made on a Market-Based Salary (MBS) structure.

Positions are available across the Social & Services Wing and Economic Growth Wing.


General Requirements

1. Educational Qualification

  • Minimum 16 years of education in a relevant field.

  • Preference will be given based on the quality and ranking of the degree-awarding institution, in the following order:

    • Top-tier international universities

    • National centers of excellence

    • Traditional public-sector centers of excellence

    • Other recognized universities


2. Cover Letter (Mandatory for All Applicants)

  • one to two-page cover letter explaining:

    • The candidate’s interest in the position

    • Why the candidate is suitable for the role

  • The cover letter will serve as a go/no-go criterion.

    • Poorly written or unprofessional cover letters will result in rejection of the application.


3. Quality of Experience & Achievements

  • Particularly important for:

    • Applicants from institutions lacking accreditation or academic ranking

    • Applicants for the Team Lead (MBS-I) position

  • Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of excellence, leadership, and professional achievement.


Eligibility Criteria (Post-wise)

Team Lead (MBS-I)

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience in Pakistan or internationally

  • Demonstrated record of outstanding achievements and leadership, including successful team management

  • Minimum 16 years of education in a relevant field

  • Experience may be from the public, private, development sectors, or a combination thereof


Associate (MBS-II)

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in Pakistan or internationally

  • Demonstrable and verifiable record of outstanding achievements

  • Minimum 16 years of education in a relevant field

  • Experience from public, private, or development sectors is acceptable


Analyst (MBS-III)

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Pakistan or internationally

  • Proven record of outstanding and verifiable achievements

  • Minimum 16 years of education in a relevant field

  • Experience from public, private, or development sectors is acceptable


Analyst (MBS-IV)

  • Fresh graduates with minimum 16 years of education in a relevant field

  • Demonstrable record of academic or professional excellence


Recruitment Procedure

Phase-I: Shortlisting

Applications will be shortlisted based on:

  • Academic credentials

  • Quality of CV

  • Cover letter

  • Professional experience and achievements

  • Background checks and reference verification


Phase-II: Standardized Aptitude Test

  • Shortlisted candidates will undergo a standardized aptitude test similar to GRE, applicable for MBS-I to MBS-IV.

  • The test will also assess:

    • Technical competence

    • Financial, strategic, and analytical skills

    • Case study / problem-solving abilities


Phase-III: Final Interview

  • Detailed interviews will be conducted to assess candidates’ suitability for the respective roles.

  • Marks from previous phases will not be carried forward.


Terms & Conditions

  1. Government, semi-government, or autonomous organization employees must apply through the proper channel.

  2. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.

  3. No TA/DA will be admissible.

  4. The competent authority reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel the number of posts.

  5. Candidates may apply for only one position.

  6. After evaluation, a candidate may be offered a lower position, if deemed appropriate.
