Power Planning & Monitoring Company (PPMC) is mandated to provide policy and technical support to the Ministry of Energy (Power Division) for integrated planning of Pakistan’s power sector. The company is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic plans and for administering, monitoring, and evaluating the performance of power sector entities in line with approved policies and plans.
PPMC invites applications from qualified, competent, and motivated professionals for the following positions. The selected candidates will initially be appointed on probation for three (03) months, after which continuation will be subject to company policy.
Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, sound judgment based on accurate and timely analysis, and outstanding communication, analytical, and minute-writing skills. The ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, maintain integrity, maturity, and confidentiality, and be IT-savvy is essential.
Prepare comprehensive analytical reports on:
Line losses
Recovery and receivables
Revenue improvement
Electricity theft control
Financial impact assessment
Set, monitor, and evaluate loss-reduction targets for Distribution Companies (DISCOs).
Track DISCO performance against benchmarks and recommend timely corrective and remedial measures.
Contribute to the development and periodic updating of DISCO sector roadmaps aligned with:
National energy policies
Reform agendas
Performance objectives
Oversee preparation of monthly and periodic analytical reports covering Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Monitor load management and demand-side management practices.
Lead the development and enhancement of an integrated Power Sector Dashboard presenting critical KPIs.
Coordinate DISCO performance evaluations using standardized monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks.
Prepare scorecards, comparative analyses, and performance insights.
Coordinate with regulatory bodies, policymakers, and stakeholders for:
Data consistency
Regulatory compliance
Sector reforms
Provide analytical inputs, briefing notes, and summary reports for:
Senior management
Parliamentary affairs
High-level decision-makers
Facilitate inter-agency review meetings, including mid-year reviews and year-end M&E workshops.
CA / ACMA / ACCA / CIMA / CFA
MBA from an HEC-recognized institution
Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in the power sector

Enterprise workforce planning, onboarding, and retention in a metrics-driven environment.
Implement and administer Board-approved HR policies, service regulations, and SOPs.
Design and manage performance management systems using:
Quantifiable KPIs

Manage learning, leadership development, and capability-building initiatives.
Handle complex employee relations, disciplinary proceedings, and misconduct cases.
Operate enterprise HR systems (Oracle HCM / E-Business Suite HRMS or equivalent).
Prepare HR analytics, MIS dashboards, and management reports.
Apply Mercer/Hay job evaluation frameworks for:
Role sizing
Grading
Pay structures
Lead compensation structuring, salary rationalization, and benefits governance.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, SOE Act provisions, and audit requirements.
Support organizational restructuring, rightsizing, and reform initiatives.
Oversee administrative and facility management functions.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:

Related fields (HEC-recognized)
