CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN THE PETROLEUM INDUSTRY

A Karachi-based Petroleum Refining Unit invites applications from dynamic, highly motivated, and result-oriented professionals with a proven track record of integrity. Candidates should be capable of performing effectively in a challenging work environment and meet the criteria outlined below.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

1. Manager – Technical Services

  • Department: Technical Services

  • Qualification: MS / BE in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university

  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in the petroleum refinery industry

2. Deputy Manager (Section Head) – Finance & Accounts

  • Department: Finance & Accounts

  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) from a recognized institute (e.g., ICAP)

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting and finance roles

    • Preference will be given to candidates with at least 2 years of experience in the Petroleum or Energy sector

3. Engineer – Operations

  • Department: Operations

  • Qualification: BE / BS in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in petroleum refinery operations

4. Engineer – Electrical

  • Department: Electrical

  • Qualification: BE / BS in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the petroleum refinery industry

5. Engineer – Mechanical

  • Department: Mechanical

  • Qualification: BE / BS in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the petroleum refinery industry

6. Technician – Instrumentation / Electrical / Mechanical

  • Department: Technical

  • Qualification: DAE in relevant discipline from a recognized Board of Technical Education

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

  • Preference: Candidates with experience in the Oil & Gas sector will be preferred

7. Operator – Field / DCS

  • Department: Operations

  • Qualification: DAE (Chemical) from a recognized Board of Technical Education

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the petroleum refinery industry

  • Preference: Experience in DCS Operations will be an added advantage

8. Firefighter – HSE

  • Department: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

  • Qualification: DAE (Chemical) from a recognized Board of Technical Education

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

  • Preference: Candidates with experience in the Oil & Gas sector will be preferred

GENERAL INFORMATION
